The Association of Education Secretaries is set to form a strategic partnership with Edugist, a leading media foundation, ahead of the highly anticipated Educator’s Keep Fit program. This decision was made following an inspiring presentation by Edugist Innovation Officers, Folaranmi Ajayi & David Agbaje during the association’s monthly meeting held at Alimosho Local Government.

The team told the educators that the event is aimed at improving the wellness and mental health of every educator.

Speaking about the event Folaranmi noted that Educators Keep Fit is Nigeria’s first health and well-being event for the education sector, organized by Edugist as a CSR initiative to help teachers, school administrators, school owners, and other stakeholders increase physical activity, and live healthier lives.

The partnership will mark a significant milestone in prioritizing the wellness and mental health of educators, reflecting a commitment to fostering a supportive and vibrant educational community. With the joint efforts of Edugist and the Education Secretaries association, this initiative seeks to create an environment where educators can thrive both personally and professionally.

Through the Educator’s Keep Fit program, educators will have access to resources and activities aimed at promoting physical activity, mental well-being, and camaraderie among peers. The program will offer a holistic approach to wellness, addressing the diverse needs of educators in today’s educational landscape.

“The 4-hour workout session also provides a bonding
and networking opportunity for players in the
education ecosystem for improved performance at
work and the cross-pollination of ideas among educators”

This collaboration will signify a new era of cooperation and progress in the realm of education. With this collaboration Edugist and the Education Secretaries association are poised to make a lasting impact on the lives of educators, ultimately benefiting students and communities across Lagos State.

With a shared vision and determination, Edugist and the Education Secretaries association are set to lead the way in promoting educator wellness and fostering a culture of support and collaboration within the education sector.
