LASU FACULTY OF ARTS TO INAUGURATE CENTRE FOR AFRO – BRAZILIAN STUDIES

The Faculty of Arts, Lagos State University hereby invites members of staff (Teaching and Non – Teaching), students and the general public to the inauguration of the University’s Centre for Afro – Brazilian Studies (LASUCAS) and the reception of Brazilian Visiting Scholars that has been scheduled as follows :

Date : Wednesday, 6th February, 2019
Time : 10 : 00 am
Venue : 3 – in – 1 Building, Faculty of Education, LASU

Members of the University Community who are also Afro – Brazilian Descendants are cordially invited.

The Brazilian Ambassador in Lagos; Ambassador Flavio R. Bonzanini (Consul – General, Brazil, Lagos) and the President of Afro – Brazilian Descendants Association (ADA), Mr. Graciliano Martins are being expected at the all important event.

The Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University; Prof. ‘Lanre Fagbohun, SAN, will be the Chief Host, while the Host is Dean, Faculty of Arts; Prof. Harrison Adeniyi.
