Dr. Cynthia Kudji and her daughter Jasmine have left an indelible memory in Ghana as both of them completed their medical studies same year.

Cynthia studied Family Medicine at The University of Health and Sciences, St. Kitts and Nevis, in the Caribbean. Her daughter graduated at Louisiana State University’s (LSU) School of Medicine, in New Orleans, USA with a degree in General Surgery.

While expressing her joy, Jasmine stated that her mom was her source of inspiration.

“I was told that my mom’s dream of attending a medical school was initially unsuccessful at age 23 because she got pregnant with and had to raise me as a single mom,” she stated.

Both mom and daughter are scheduled to commence residency at LSU in July 2020.
