The National Business and Technical Examinations Board NABTEB has announced the indefinite postponement of the 2020 May/June Ordinary Level Certificate Examinations, following the ravaging Coronavirus pandemic across the country.

The postponement was disclosed on Thursday 23 April, 2020 by NABTEB’s Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe.

She stated that “The 2020 May/June series of the NABTEB certificate examinations, which are for in-school candidates, originally scheduled to begin on May 4, 2020 have been postponed indefinitely, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the whole world.”

“A new date will be announced in due course. Meanwhile, registration for the examinations still continues,” she added.

NABTEB has enjoined candidates to continue to actively engage in their studies through e-learning resources made available through radio and television and other safe means.
