The Nigerian University of Technology and Management in Lagos has initiated the admission process for its full-time undergraduate degree programs in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, management, and entrepreneurship.
In an official statement, the institution announced that, following the approval of the National Universities Commission, NUTM is set to offer initial bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, Cyber Security, and Information Technology.
The statement highlighted, “With the endorsement from the National Universities Commission, NUTM is poised to provide bachelor’s degrees encompassing Computer Science, Cyber Security, and Information Technology. The innovative curriculum includes computing, entrepreneurship capstones, professional skills development, and hands-on industry experience.”
NUTM aims to combine an Ivy League-caliber faculty with a world-class curriculum dedicated to advancing technology education in Nigeria. Students will have the advantage of collaborations with prestigious institutions such as Oxford University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Dr. Nubi Achebo, the Academic Director at NUTM, expressed excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to open Nigeria’s premier tech and management training to undergraduate learners. Our graduates are poised to revolutionize African innovation and industry.”
