PICTORIAL: Mathematics doctorate at 27, lady celebrates graduation from South African university

Grace Ogwo, A Nigerian lady has celebrated her triumph after bagging a doctorate in Mathematics at age 27.  Ogwo took to her Facebook page to celebrate her victory despite getting a D7 grade when she sat for her West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and a C6 in her NECO certificate in the same subject.

Ogwo was awarded a PhD in Mathematics by the University of Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa. She has over 20 publications and graduated with a first-class grade in Mathematics during her first degree at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU). She was also the best-graduating student in her department at the time.
