Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has appointed Professor Toyin Ogundipe as the new Chairman and Pro Chancellor of Redeemer’s University in Ede, Osun State. This significant move comes as part of the church’s commitment to enhancing educational standards within its institutions.
Professor Ogundipe, who previously served as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, succeeds Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi, the Assistant General Overseer in charge of Training and Education at RCCG. The announcement was made in a statement by Adetunji Adeleye, the university’s Public Relations Officer, on Monday.
The reconstituted Governing Council also includes esteemed members such as Professor Shadrach Olufemi Akindele as Vice-Chancellor, and several representatives from the RCCG and academic community, ensuring a diverse and experienced leadership team.
