Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has appointed Dr Oluremi Nurudeen Olaleye as the new Rector of the Lagos State Polytechnic.
The appointment was announced in a statement on Monday November 23, 2020, from the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education and signed by Head Public Affairs,
Omolase Yejide.
The appointment followed his interview by the Institution’s Governing Council.
Olaleye is to serve a five-year single term which takes effect from December 1, 2020 at the expiration of the tenure of the Acting Rector, Mr. Olumide Olusola Metilelu.
Olaleye prior to his appointment was Chief Lecturer at the Polytechnic.
