Monash University has announced the Sir John Monash 2024 Scholarship Programme, aimed at the 10 highest-achieving international students studying Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia.
Eligible candidates with an ATAR of 98.00 or higher will be automatically considered for this prestigious scholarship upon applying for a Monash undergraduate degree through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC).
Benefits
The Sir John Monash Scholarship offers a substantial financial benefit of $10,000 per annum for up to four years, which supports recipients through 48 credit points of study annually. Additionally, scholarship recipients will receive an invitation to join Monash Minds, a leadership program designed for first-year students. Scholars may also have the opportunity to participate in Monash’s marketing, recruitment, and promotional activities, providing valuable exposure and experience.
Eligibility
To qualify for the Sir John Monash Scholarships for Excellence, applicants must meet specific criteria. Candidates must be international students who are currently enrolled in an Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate program. They should be intending to enroll in a full-time undergraduate degree at a Monash University campus in Australia. A high school certificate or its equivalent and proof of English language proficiency are also required.
Application process
The application process for the Sir John Monash Scholarship is straightforward, as no separate application is required. All eligible students who apply for an undergraduate course through VTAC will be automatically assessed for the scholarship.
