The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has been honored as the 2024 Best Performing Parastatal in Team C by the SERVICOM Office, an award recognizing excellence in service delivery.
The recognition was given during SERVICOM’s Ministry Departments and Agencies (MDAs) annual awards ceremony in Abuja on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
SERVICOM’s National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer, Nnenna Akajemeli, praised TETFund’s commitment to superior customer service. “The recognition reflects the agency’s efforts, under the leadership of Arc. Sonny S T. Echono, to significantly improve service delivery,” she stated. Akajemeli further emphasized the importance of prioritizing high-quality services as central to governance and presented Echono with a letter of commendation.
The letter commended TETFund’s ongoing focus on customer satisfaction and praised the agency for its inspiring drive to ensure Nigerians receive quality and timely service. It read in part, “We are indeed encouraged by your inspiring strive in ensuring that Nigerians receive quality and timely service from the Nigerian State.”
Echono also received an award for his support and commitment to citizen-centred service delivery. In addition, TETFund’s Nodal Officer and head of its SERVICOM Unit, Mrs. Ebere Nwobu, was named the second-best performing Nodal Officer for public service units in Team C. Akajemeli lauded Nwobu for her enthusiasm and dedication to service improvement and customer satisfaction.
Nwobu expressed her gratitude for the recognition, assuring that she would remain committed to enhancing service delivery in TETFund.
