Shamsuddeen Magaji Bello, a law graduate from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has been conferred a Masters of International Development Studies and Graduate Certificate in War and Peace Studies by the Ohio University, United States.
According to a report published on UDUS official social media platform, Shamsuddeen Magaji Bello achieved a milestone record of graduating with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.96 on a scale of 4.0.
Having served as President of African Students Union in the US varsity, he received the Academic Achievement Award and the Leadership and Excellence Award.
An indigene of Kebbi state, Bello bagged bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) in 2012 from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
He was a winner of the prestigious Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship in Kaduna state and the Fulbright Fellowship in the United States among other notable accolades.
He is happily married and has one child.
One of his aspirations, according to the report, is to guide the younger generation of African youths in becoming exemplary ambassadors for the continent.
“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Shamsuddeen Magaji Bello on his outstanding accomplishments, and we wish him the very best in all his future endeavors,” UDUS wrote on its official Facebook page.
