The Centre for Peace Studies, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has invited the general public to a virtual International symposium, organised by the center.
According to a promotional flyer released by the center, the symposium titled Niger Crisis & The Future of African Integration, is scheduled to hold via Zoom on Monday, August 28, 2023 by 10:00am (GMT).
The host of the programme is Prof. M. T. Usman, Director Center for Peace Studies, UDUS and the chief host is Prof. Lawal Suleiman Bilbis, Vice Chancellor, UDUS.
The notable speakers of the day are: Prof. Mukhtar Umar Bunza from the Department of History and International Studies, UDUS, Prof. Toyin Falola from the University of Texas at Austin, USA, Prof. Aja Akpuru-Aja from the Department of Political Science, Abia State University, Uturu, and Dr. Musa E. Umar, National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, (NIPSS), Kuru.
The chairman of the programme is Abubakar Sokoto Mohammed from the Department of Sociology, UDUS.
