The Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has postponed the first semester examination for the 2022/2033 academic session.
The examination was earlier scheduled to commence on Monday, 24th July 2023. However, according to a circular released by the school management on Thursday, 20th July and signed by the Director, University Examination and Registration, M.M. Bako, the examination will now start on Monday, 31st July.
The management stated that the reason for the postponement was as a result of logistics issues.
“This is to inform the University community that the University Management has, due to some logistic issues, rescheduled the commencement of first semester 2022/2023 session examinations from Monday 24th July, 2023 to Monday 31 July, 2023,” the circular reads.
Meanwhile, the registration exercise for the academic session which was earlier slated to close on Thursday, 20th July, has been shifted to 28th July, making it the fourth time the deadline for the exercise would be postponed.
“Consequently, the school registration portal will remain open until 28 July, 2023 for students to register and print their e-examination cards,” it circular added.
