UNESCO’s International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) has announced the launch of its online course “Foundations of Education Sector Planning,” designed to equip professionals with essential knowledge in educational planning, approaches, and data analysis.

Scheduled from October 2, 2024, to July 22, 2025, the program requires a commitment of 10-12 hours per week.

The IIEP, a global leader in training and research in educational planning, is organizing the course. It aims to support professionals from Ministries of Education, governmental bodies, NGOs, and development partners involved in educational planning.

Eligible participants should have relevant professional experience, hold a three-year post-secondary education diploma in social sciences, and be proficient in English or French.

To qualify, participants must also possess good computer skills and complete an introductory course on descriptive statistics.

The tuition fee is $2,500 USD per participant, with payment due by June 28, 2024. Successful completion of the course will earn participants an IEP Diploma.

Interested candidates are encouraged to register by June 14, 2024, through the [UNESCO IIEP Training Portal](https://training.iep.unesco.org/faces/CreationCompte.xhtml) or by contacting natcom.unesco@education.gov.ng for further information..
