The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has said it will no longer register candidates who do not have the National Identity Number for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

While issuing the warning on Thursday 17th October 2019, on its tweeter handle, the body stated that only intending candidates who have the NIN will be registered for the 2020 examination.

The Board also warned against unauthorised financial transactions with its staff members.

“Please be informed that the Board frowns on any form of financial dealings between candidates and staff.
All payments on JAMB services are made directly to the Board’s TSA,” it warned.

“Therefore, candidates involved in any financial transaction with a staff member of the Board should notify the Board immediately and also provide any useful information about such staff for necessary action,” he added.
