The Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech) has announced the appointments of Mr. John Olusola Dada as the new substantive bursar and Mrs. Henrietta Adebola Gbemisola Badejo as the new registrar.
Both appointments, approved by the Governing Council, will take effect on January 2, 2025, for a five-year tenure, according to a statement by Acting Registrar, Dr. E. J. A. Akinwale.
Mr. Dada, a native of Efon Alaaye in Ekiti State, is an alumnus of CAC Grammar School and the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti. He is a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience across polytechnics, universities, and private sectors.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and Associate Member of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of Nigeria (ACIMA), Dada has earned numerous commendations from Yabatech management over the years, including recognition in 2023 and 2024 for his contributions.
His achievements include maintaining proper accounting records for TETFund activities, digitizing the Bursary Department, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Mrs. Badejo’s profile will likely be detailed in subsequent announcements as the college prepares for the transition in January.
