Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) in Osara has been granted approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to introduce 11 full-time undergraduate programmes.
In an official statement released by Balogun Omeiza David, the Head of the Public Relations Unit at CUSTECH, Osara, it was announced that this significant milestone was achieved after a comprehensive Resource Verification Assessment Visit conducted by a panel of experts from the NUC.
The approval letter from the NUC stated:m, “I am pleased to inform the Vice-Chancellor that the Executive Secretary has reviewed and authorized the establishment of the full-time mode for the following undergraduate programs, which will be offered at the University’s Main Campus starting from the 2023/2024 academic session.”
The approved programmes are as follows: B.Sc. Architecture, B.Sc. Building, B.Sc. Geography, B.Sc. Surveying and Geo-informatics, B.Sc. Urban and Regional Planning, B.Sc. Accounting, B.Sc. Actuarial Science, B.Sc. Business Administration, B.Sc. Transport and Logistics Management, B.Sc. Human Resource Management, and B.Sc. Economics.
With these additions, CUSTECH offers a total of thirty programmes, including the existing ones in the Faculty of Science (Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology, Statistics, Geology, Applied Geophysics, and Physics), Faculty of Computing and Information (Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, and Information Technology), and Faculty of Engineering (Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering).
As an esteemed institution, CUSTECH has already admitted its pioneer students into the 300 level and will soon commence the process of enrolling fresh students for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic session.
