Applications are now welcome from all Akwa Ibom indigenes who are currently pursuing undergraduate degrees in recognised Nigerian tertiary institutions.
The AKISAN Scholarship Programme is happily open to receiving applications from eligible students of polytechnic, colleges of education, and universities.
10 Akwa Ibom students currently studying in the USA will receive an awrd of $500, while 62 students from Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education will be awarded a cash prize of N100,000 each.
Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate AKISAN Scholarship Programme, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
Applicants must be indigenes of Akwa Ibom State.
Applicants must be enrolled in a public institution of higher learning anywhere in Nigeria.
Applicant must be Undergraduates students.
Applicants must be registered for the semester in which the scholarship is granted.
Applicant must have minimum GPA of 2.5 undergraduate or a High School GPA of 3.0 (on a 5.0 scale) for first-year undergraduates.
All accredited programs of Nigerian tertiary institutions are eligible to apply for the AKISAN Scholarship Program.
