The S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences in Kolkata, India, in collaboration with TWAS, has announced the opening of applications for the 2024/2025 Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme.
This prestigious fellowship is designed for foreign scholars from developing countries to advance their research in the physical sciences at one of India’s leading research institutions.
Eligibility:
To be considered for the fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria: they should be under 45 years of age as of December 31, 2024, and must be nationals of a developing country (excluding India). Additionally, candidates must not hold any visa for temporary or permanent residency in India or any developed country. Applicants are also required to be employed in a developing country (excluding India) and must hold a research position there.
Candidates must possess a PhD degree in physics, mathematics, physical chemistry, or any branch of life sciences.
