Unilorin inaugurates 37th students union, marks handover ceremony with VC portrait

The handover ceremony of the 36th Students’ Union Executive to the newly inaugurated 37th Students’ Union Executive on Tuesday, 6th August 2024, has become a memorable event.

During this notable event, Oluwatobi Joseph Atolagbe, popularly known as “Presidential Arts,” who had served as the immediate past Public Relations Officer, presented a meticulously crafted drawing of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Wahab Egbewole, SAN.

The portrait, which captured the essence and dignity of Professor Egbewole, was completed in a remarkable span of just 6 hours and 21 minutes.

The atmosphere was charged with admiration as Oluwatobi handed over the drawing to Professor Egbewole.

The vice-chancellor’s reaction was a genuine appreciation, as his warm smile reflected his delight at the exceptional talent and dedication displayed by the young artist.

This gesture not only highlighted Oluwatobi’s artistic skill but also underscored the vibrant spirit and creativity thriving within the university community.
