The Federal Government of Nigeria, in partnership with Intel Corporation, The Commonwealth, and the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology, has announced the 2025 AI Academy Programme.
This initiative aims to empower Nigerians with critical AI skills to foster innovation, solve societal challenges, and access global opportunities. Participants will receive professional certification upon completion and can qualify as AI Ambassadors through national competitions or exams.

Eligibility Requirements:
The AI Academy Programme is open to Nigerians from various educational and professional backgrounds, including youth, students, and civil servants. No prior experience in AI is required, as the course is beginner-friendly and fully funded, ensuring no cost to participants. The training consists of self-paced online modules to be completed within 3 to 6 months, depending on the participant’s schedule.
