The i-Scholar Initiative (iSI) is offering its 2025 scholarship to ambitious Nigerian graduates seeking to pursue graduate studies abroad, particularly in the USA. This scholarship aims to provide financial support for standardized tests and foster a supportive network of mentors and professionals to help scholars navigate the complexities of international education.
Benefits:
The scholarship covers the costs of standardized tests such as the GRE, GMAT, and TOEFL, essential for admission into foreign graduate programs. Selected scholars will also benefit from a predetermined number of graduate school application fees, comprehensive mentorship, and networking opportunities with professionals in various fields. While iSI does not offer full tuition scholarships, the program enhances the likelihood of securing fully funded graduate programs through outstanding test performances.
Eligibility:
To qualify, applicants must be Nigerian graduates with at least a Second Class Upper degree from an accredited African institution. They must be prepared to take the required exams by August 2023 and demonstrate readiness to apply for graduate programs in the 2023/2024 academic window.
Required Documents:
Applicants need to submit a personal statement detailing their academic and career aspirations, an examination study plan outlining their test preparation strategy, and two reference letters—one academic and one professional. Additionally, they must provide their first-degree transcripts, a CV or resume, and their degree certificate or statement of result.
Application Process:
Interested candidates can apply by filling out the online application form available on the i-Scholar Initiative’s official website. All required documents must be uploaded in the designated fields. For any inquiries, applicants can reach out via email at applications@ischolarinitiative.org.
Application Deadline: Ongoing.
