The Abia State Government has announced a shift in the dates for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) in the ongoing Abia State Teachers Recruitment Exercise 2025.
The test, originally scheduled for March 5th and 6th, 2025, has been rescheduled to March 6th and 7th, 2025 due to a delay in updating CBT centre information for applicants.
In a press release issued by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, the government assured candidates that the adjustment was made to ensure a smooth and transparent recruitment process.
The statement further noted that persons with disabilities are exempted from the CBT examination. Instead, they will be directly scheduled for an oral interview at a later date, which will be communicated in due course.
Shortlisted candidates are advised to visit the recruitment portal on the ministry’s website (www.mobse-abiastategov.ng) to check for further updates. Additionally, those who have misplaced their User ID or Password are encouraged to use the ‘Forgot ID’ or ‘Forgot Password’ feature to reset their login credentials.
Candidates can also begin printing their photo cards starting from March 4, 2025, which will contain their CBT centre details, batch, and allocated time slot for the examination.
For inquiries, complaints, or assistance, the Ministry reassured applicants that helplines remain open to provide support.
The release was signed by the Recruitment Committee on behalf of the Honourable Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Abia State.
I was shortlisted and SMS text was sent to me twice but my dashboard refused to open.
