Fellows of the Lateef Jakande Academy (LJLA) have arrived New Delhi, India on an International Policy Trip. The LJLA Fellows will explore India’s democratic governance structure, understanding its evolution and key principles, they will get firsthand insights into India’s governance models. The trip will foster cultural understanding through interactions with local communities, businesses and establishing networks for potential collaborations between Nigeria and India.
The Fellows will also have Fireside Chats with Indian Business Leaders and Tech Leaders, at the Indian Technology Institute (ITI).
The LJLA Executive Secretary, Mrs. Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade stated that the policy trip will be a transformative experience for the Fellows, providing them with a unique opportunity to gain insights from India’s economic and governance models.
This is part of the policies of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in building future leaders for Lagos State and Nigeria in general through the academy and also in line with the inclusion pillar in the THEMES plus Agenda of his administration.
