The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, in collaboration with TD Africa, is launching the 2024 TecHERdemy Skills Training Program, aimed at equipping 400 young Nigerian women with in-demand tech skills. This initiative seeks to address the growing need for tech-savvy professionals by offering training in areas such as cybersecurity, data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and software development, with added opportunities for job placements and internships.

Participants in the TecHERdemy program will benefit from comprehensive training in fields such as cybersecurity, data science, AI, and software development. The program aims to increase employability by 80%, equipping trainees with industry-relevant skills over a six-month period. In addition to the training, top-performing candidates will be eligible for job placements and internships, helping to jump-start their careers in the tech industry.

To be eligible for the TecHERdemy Skills Training, applicants must be Nigerian females interested in pursuing a career in tech.
