The Munich Security Conference (MSC) and Binding Hook have launched the AI Cybersecurity Essay Competition, an initiative aimed at exploring the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in cybersecurity.

This global contest, supported by Google, offers a grand prize of €10,000 and an unparalleled opportunity to engage with policymakers and thought leaders at the 2025 Munich Security Conference.

Benefits:
The competition boasts a prize pool of €18,500, distributed as follows:
– 1st Place: €10,000
– 2nd Place: €5,000
– 3rd Place:€2,500
– 4th and 5th Places: €1,000 each
The top essayist will also be invited to the 2025 Munich Security Conference, taking place from February 14–16, where they will be recognized during an award ceremony. This event provides a platform to interact with global leaders and innovators in cybersecurity and AI.

Eligibility:
Submissions for the AI Cybersecurity Essay Competition must demonstrate a nuanced understanding of AI’s role in cybersecurity, emphasizing its implications for Europe and providing actionable recommendations. Essays should present original ideas, articulate arguments clearly, and include supporting examples or data. Submissions must be between 800 and 1,200 words, excluding footnotes but incorporating hyperlinks for references.
