The UNESCO Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads International Photo Contest 2024 is now accepting submissions, offering young photographers worldwide a platform to capture and share their perspectives on the cultural heritage of the Silk Roads.
This annual event celebrates the visual arts as a medium for fostering global understanding and dialogue among youth.

The contest offers attractive prizes to the top winners. First-place winners will receive a professional camera, while second-place winners will be awarded a semi-professional camera. The third-place prize consists of a standard-model digital camera. These awards not only recognize the talent of young photographers but also support them in continuing their artistic endeavors.
Eligibility:
The contest is open to individuals aged 14 to 25, regardless of their country of residence. However, employees of UNESCO, the China World Peace Foundation (the contest’s donor), and their immediate family members are ineligible to participate. Submitted images must be at least 1,500 pixels wide for horizontal photos or 1,500 pixels tall for vertical ones and should be in JPEG or JPG format. Participants must also be able to provide high-resolution images suitable for media or exhibition use.
Application process:
To enter the contest, participants must visit the official Participation page and upload up to 20 photographs, each accompanied by a caption. All submissions must meet the minimum quality standards of 1,500 pixels in width for horizontal images and 1,500 pixels in height for vertical images.
