The US Embassy in Abuja has announced an exciting funding opportunity aimed at supporting Nigerian students who have secured full financial aid from U.S. colleges and universities but lack the resources to cover essential costs.

Benefits:
The US Embassy Higher Education Grant offers up to $175,000to help students with application fees, standardized test fees, airfare, visa expenses, and other necessary costs. This grant is specifically for both undergraduate and graduate Nigerian students in need of financial assistance.

Eligibility:
Eligible organizations for the US Embassy Education Grant include:
– Non-profit organizations (including think tanks and NGOs)
– Public and private educational institutions
– Public international organizations and governmental bodies
– A valid Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) issued via SAM.gov
– A current registration in SAM.gov
– Only one proposal submission per organization is allowed. Multiple submissions will lead to disqualification.

Application process:
Interested organizations can apply by visiting their official page. They should download the mandatory application forms under the “Forms” tab, complete the required information, and submit their proposals. It is essential to ensure that the application meets all the eligibility criteria and guidelines.
