As Muslims throughout the world celebrate Eid-el-Kabir today, the Rector, Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Mr Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi has congratulated Islamic faithful, especially in the polytechnic, charging them to emulate Prophet Mohamed in their daily activities.

Mr Alabi in a statement he personally signed, said “I felicitate you all today as we celebrate the Sallah, witnessing this year’s Sallah is a grace of the Almighty Allah who has made it possible for us to be alive.

“As we do the celebration, I urge you not to be carried away by the aura and socials of Sallah, but to imbibe the spiritual lessons contained in life of Prophet Mohamed and Prophet Ibrahim, emulate the humility and obedience spirit of the prophets, who in their humility obeyed God in totality.

“I urge you to be more dedicated, loving, honest, hardworking and prayerful. Be more loyal and faithful in your day- to-day activities”

The Rector also charged the Muslims to use the period to pray for the State Governor, Asiwaju Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke whom he described as a God sent messiah who has come to rebuild the state.

He noted that Governor Adeleke’s efforts in the rejuvenation of the State moribund Educational Sector is appreciated, while the road constructions going on in all Local Government areas in the state is commendable.
