Oluwakemisola Emmanuel, a resilient student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has defied the odds to achieve her dream of graduating with a B.Sc. in Mass Communication.

Once compelled to beg on the streets to raise her tuition fees, Oluwakemisola’s story is a powerful testament to perseverance and hope.

Through a series of throwback photos shared on her Instagram handle, Oluwakemisola documented her inspiring journey. The images captured her challenges and triumphs, from her early days as a 100-level and 200-level student to her final year when financial difficulties forced her to seek public support to complete her studies.

In a heartfelt Instagram post celebrating her achievement, she wrote:
“Officially a B.Sc. Mass Communication graduate from the University of Lagos! What started in December 2017 has finally come to a beautiful end today. I’m deeply grateful to God for guiding me through this journey and to everyone who supported me financially along the way.”
