Law students from Lagos State University (LASU) clinched victory at the prestigious National Inter Faculty Competition (NIFC) hosted by Redeemers University in Osun State, defeating representatives from 52 other universities across the nation.
The NIFC, renowned for its rigorous academic challenges, encompassed a series of disciplines including essay writing, debating, brief writing, and advocacy.
LASU exceptional team navigated through multiple rounds of intense competition, showcasing their critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative skills.
Kodjovi Daniel represented LASU with distinction in the essay writing category, while Aina Ayomide and Abdulquadri Ajeniya exhibited exceptional debating prowess on behalf of the university.
Bolajojo Animasaun and Akinrinde Fredrick delivered standout performances in the final rounds, securing victory for LASU in the national event.
Akinwunmi David, president of LASU Student Advocate Association, lauded the students’ triumph as a testament to their diligence and intellectual brilliance. “This victory underscores the hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent of our students,” remarked David.
