NBTE approves six academic programs for new Federal Polytechnic in Abia

The National Board For Technical Education, NBTE, has granted the newly approved Federal Polytechnic, Isuochi, Abia State , the institutional and administrative approval to commence academic programs.

The approval is contained in two letters addressed to the Rector dated 14th January 2025 and signed by Mrs Fatima Kabir Umar on behalf of the Executive Secretary of NBTE.

According to the letter, the approval followed the resource inspection visit made to the institution between 7th and 10th of January, 2025 by the National Board For Technical Education.

The Board added that Federal Polytechnic Isuochi is expected to commence academic programs with already approved six programs which include National Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology, Statics, Science Laboratory Technology, Computer Science, Accountancy as well as Business and Administration Management.
