NUC praises UniAbuja Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences

In a significant milestone for the University of Abuja, the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences has garnered acclaim from the National Universities Commission (NUC) during a recent resource verification exercise.

The announcement was made by Khadijat Toyin Musah, Associate Professor of Nursing Science and the Pioneer Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences at the University of Abuja.

According to a report, the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences proudly presented two distinguished programmes, the Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N.Sc) and the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS), for scrutiny by a visiting team from the NUC.

“These programmes underwent rigorous evaluation, and the outcome was nothing short of exceptional,” the report unveiled.

The visiting team, consisting of experts in the field, conducted an in-depth assessment of the faculty’s programmes, infrastructure, and faculty expertise.

Both the Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N.Sc) and Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS) programs received resounding approval, as reflected in their “cheery exit reports.”

The positive reviews signify a significant achievement for the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, affirming its commitment to maintaining excellence in healthcare education and training.

It also underscores the dedication of the faculty’s staff and their unwavering pursuit of academic excellence.

Khadijat Toyin Musah, the trailblazing Associate Professor of Nursing Science and the Pioneer Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, expressed her excitement and optimism regarding this achievement.
