The Rector, Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi has congratulated all Muslims in the Polytechnic Community on the occasion of the Eid-El- Fitri, charging them not to relent in their prayers for their individual intentions and entire Polytechnic Community.
Alabi in a Statement he personally signed described the Ramadan as a period of fervent dedication, sober reflections, reconciliation and total abstinence from sins and social iniquities.
He added that it was a period of spiritual rejuvenation during which individual intentions are offered to God in holiness.
Alabi expressed optimism that all prayers sent to Allah during the 30 days dedication would be answered by God, charging the Muslims not to relent in their prayers now that the Ramadan for 2024 has come to an end.
He enjoined the Islamic devotees to continue in their holiness and prayerful lives.
He urged them to embrace love, peace and tranquility so that the relative peace evident in the activities of the Institution’s Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students could continue.
According to him ” I wish to charge you not relent in your prayers for the Institution and the State Government. Pray for us to continue our good deeds, especially, the State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke who Allah has sent to rebuild the social-economic and educational structure of the State. Don’t go back to sins, remain in your holiness and shun all iniquities that could debar manifestations of your prayers.
“On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of the Polytechnic, I wish you a Happy Eid-El- Fitri”, Alabi said.
