Ifechukwudeni Oweh, a 16-year-old school boy from Port Harcourt, has secured an internship at Apple.He will be working with the Wireless Technologies and Ecosystem team, where he will analyze data from Apple devices to improve embedded artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.
This opportunity will provide Teddy with valuable work experience and allow him to collaborate with some of the world’s best innovators.
Teddy, who is known for short, graduated from Chokhmah International Academy in Port Harcourt when he was just 14 years old.
He took a gap year to work for a few software companies and improve his coding skills. In the spring of 2022, he moved to the United States to pursue his bachelor’s degree.
Teddy is excited about this opportunity, saying that he has been preparing for it for a significant portion of his life. He is eager to contribute to a dynamic company like Apple.
Prior to this internship, Teddy has conducted research on various topics, including algorithms for machine learning models, disease spread using stochastic processes on networks and differential equations, and computational modeling to support environmental and agricultural advancements at Tarleton’s Texas Institute for Applied Environmental Research.
