Babajide Milton Macaulay, the founder of iLLUMANIA, an online educational consulting platform, has emerged as a top nominee for The International Education (TINE) Africa Award.

The nomination, in the “Global Scholarship Advisor” category was disclosed via his Linkedin handle.

The nomination shows Macaulay’s outstanding contribution to human capacity development across Africa over the last five years.

The TINE Africa Award is a groundbreaking initiative that celebrates excellence in the education domain, particularly acknowledging those who have played a pivotal role in transforming the international education landscape in sub-Saharan Africa.

Macaulay finds himself in esteemed company, nominated alongside influential figures in Africa’s education space, including Grace Ihejiamaizu, Olumuyiwa Igbalajobi, and Temilade Salami. The nomination stands as a testament to his consistent dedication and impact in the field.

The recognition comes on the heels of Macaulay’s impressive track record, having secured 13 national and global scholarships and fellowships, valued at over 250,000 USD, in the last two decades. Notable among these are the Total EPNL Joint Venture Merit Scholarship, Commonwealth Shared Scholarship, and the Hyperion Executive MBA Scholarship.

Motivated by a desire to give back to society, Macaulay founded iLLUMANIA to connect talented and brilliant Africans with fully-funded, life-changing educational opportunities. The online platform has already produced over 264 scholarship winners from countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, South Africa, Kenya, Liberia, and Botswana.
