The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has directed returning students who could not complete their registration for the 2022/2023 academic session to visit the university’s Management of Information Systems (MIS) to carry out the exercise.

This was contained in a circular released by the management on Monday, 26th June and signed by the Director of University Examinations and Registration, S.O Abuh.

According to the circular, the first semester examination for the 2022/2023 academic session will start on Monday, 24th July, adding that students who have fully registered would be allowed to write the examinations.

Meanwhile, students who are yet to fully register are urged to visit the MIS to complete the exercise.

Recall that the school management had earlier instructed those who defaulted in completing the registration exercise to defer the academic session.

However, in consideration of the prayer of the students, the management said they have limited time to complete this exercise.

“This is to inform you that the First Semester Examination, 2022/2023 academic session will commence on Monday, 24th July, 2023 and those that are fully registered will be allowed to write the examinations,” the circular reads.

“However, the following categories of students that are yet to complete their registration have one last chance to do so within a very limited time. Those that have not generated their invoices for registration and have their money ready, those that have generated their invoices for payment but are yet to make payment, those that have paid their registration fees but are yet to do their course registration should all go to Management Information System (MIS) to complete their registration manually. Students who do not take advantage of this opportunity would have to defer the session.

“Please treat as urgent as limited time is allowed,” it added.
