The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has on June 9, set the period of registration of returning students to June 16, 2023.
This was contained in a circular released on Monday, June 1 and themed ” Notice of Closure of Registration for Returning Students for 2022/2023 Academic Session.
The circular, signed by the Administrative officer for the university registration committee, M.M. Bako stated that the registration of the returning students will close on Friday, June 16 and the third time extension exercise was as result of pressure from parents and guardians.
“You may recall that the registration of returning students for the above -mentioned session was to close today Friday June 9, 2023 after several extensions.
“However, due to pressure from parents and guardians of those who could not register, the Management of the University, in its customary display of compassion and grace, has extended the period of the registration to Friday, June 16, 2023,” the circular reads.
The circular also added that any students who fail to register on or before the date will have to defer the session.
“By this notice, any student who could not register on or before Friday, 16th June 2023 would have to defer the session.”
