University of Abuja has unveiled the ‘Na’Allah Campus Ride,’ an innovative bicycle initiative introduced by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah.
The university proudly announced the launch via a captivating Facebook post, creating a buzz among students eager to explore this novel mode of transport within the campus confines.
The social media update depicted scenes of excitement and joy as students zipped around on the newly introduced bicycles.
Opara Anthony , a 200-level Philosophy student and one of the early riders, shared his enthusiasm, stating, “The bike is smooth and easy to ride. Many of us on campus will greatly enjoy using the bikes. I know that many of my friends have been waiting for this opportunity. Kudos to the vice-chancellor.”
The university’s comment section revealed that the institution has initially acquired 100 bicycles to kickstart the Na’Allah Campus Ride, signalling a limited but impactful launch.
The official launch event witnessed a vibrant spectacle as students pedalled alongside the Vice Chancellor and other key officials of the university, symbolizing a collaborative spirit towards embracing sustainable and eco-friendly transportation options.
