The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) has opened applications for its 2023/24 scholarship scheme aimed at providing financial support to Nigerian students from oil-producing areas of the state. The scholarship, which targets students from Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Government Areas, offers educational assistance to both undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in recognized tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
Benefits:
The OSOPADEC Scholarship provides substantial financial support, with awards of N50,000 for undergraduate students, N100,000 for Masters and Postgraduate Diploma students, and N150,000 for PhD students. This initiative seeks to alleviate the financial burden of students from oil-producing areas while promoting education in Ondo State. The program underscores OSOPADEC’s ongoing commitment to the socio-economic development of its mandate areas.
