Africa Agri-Food Development Programme (AADP) has announced applications form aimed at fostering market opportunities and developing partnerships in the agri-food sector across Africa.
The AADP provides grant funding to Irish and African agri-food businesses to support sustainable development and align with relevant Sustainable Development Goals.

Eligibility:
To qualify, applicants must be registered agri-food companies in Ireland or one of 18 eligible African countries for at least 12 months prior to application. Projects must be commercial and contribute to sustainable food systems in the chosen African countries. Additionally, partnerships must have robust governance and financial systems, and applicants must submit one year of audited accounts, tax information, details of fund flows, and any relevant contracts or Memoranda of Understanding.
Application processes:
The application process requires completing the official AADP application form. Applicants must include detailed documentation such as audited accounts, tax information, and a clear outline of project objectives and expected outcomes. For full projects, at least one Irish agri-food company and one local African commercial entity must be involved, with both partners demonstrating at least three years of experience in the agri-food sector.
