The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) is now accepting submissions for its 2024 Essay Contest.
The contest seeks essays that explore how fostering inclusive growth can enhance competitiveness and stability, the impact of business dynamism on economic development, the importance of a secure society, and the role of innovation and digital transformation.
Benefits:
The top three finalists will be awarded an internship or project grant, along with one year of priority access to NESG policy briefs, research papers, and macroeconomic outlooks. Additionally, they will receive a certification of performance. The top ten finalists will gain access to the NESG Learning Management System, and the top fifty finalists will have virtual access to the NESG’s 30th Anniversary events. These opportunities provide valuable exposure to economic policy insights and professional development resources.
Eligibility:
The contest is open to African undergraduates currently enrolled in tertiary institutions. Submissions must be original works written in English, with a strict limit of one entry per participant. Essays should not exceed 1,500 words and must be free from plagiarism and AI-generated content. Proper referencing using the APA style is required to ensure academic integrity.
