The University of Montreal (UdeM) is now accepting applications for its 2025 Exemption Scholarship, designed to support international students in their academic pursuits in Canada. This scholarship offers financial assistance of up to $21,593 per year to eligible students.
Benefits:
The UdeM Exemption Scholarship provides significant financial support to international students, helping to reduce the burden of tuition fees. Undergraduate students can receive up to $13,740.60 per year, while master’s students can receive up to $15,150.00 per year, and PhD students can receive up to $22,908.60 per year. This financial aid is aimed at enabling talented students from around the world to access high-quality education at one of Canada’s leading universities.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the 2025 UdeM Exemption Scholarship, applicants must be international students holding a study permit, who are neither permanent residents nor Canadian citizens. They must be enrolled full-time in a study program at UdeM and must not benefit from any other form of tuition fee exemption through another policy or measure. For example, French and Belgian Francophone students who already receive tuition fee exemptions are not eligible for this scholarship.
