A foremost Islamic organisation in the country, Nawair-ur- Deen Society of Nigeria is set to establish a School of Nursing in Abeokuta.
The National President of the Society, Alhaji Ganiyu Balogun said the organisation decided to establish the school as part of its contribution towards educational and medical development in the country.
Balogun who was speaking at the society’s Ramadan Tafsir in Idi-Oro stated that massive parcels of land have been acquired in Abeokuta for the project and the contractor would commence operations soon.
He said the performance and contributions of the society’s educational institutions from primary to secondary schools inspired its leadership to embark on the project.
Balogun noted that products of the society schools are now professionals in different fields and contributing towards the country’s growth.
He appealed for support of well-meaning Nigerians so that the project would be completed as soon as possible.
Chairman of the occasion, Sen. Ganiyu Solomon called on Nigerians to support the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
He stated that the ongoing economic and political reforms in the country are aimed at correcting past mistakes and moving the country forward.
