NUTM scholars Verse Hough, Esther Uwadia Abba Uba Said, & Abayomi-Perez Okekunle have emerged as one of the winners at the Presidential CNG Initiative Hackathon. The hackathon was organized by the Presidential CNG initiative in partnership with nigeriacic and we-innovation hub.
Their startup Gnergytech.com is an energy tech company on a mission to accelerate the transition of Africa to cleaner and more affordable energy alternatives like CNG.
Gnergy is a product of the TedLab module of the NSP which affords scholars the opportunity to build startup ideas from scratch and provides them with all the resources they need to achieve market success. Over the last 3+ years startups from the NUTM TedLabs have gone ahead to attract over $2 million in funding, gotten acquired, created jobs, and generate billions of naira in revenue every year.
