The College of Health Sciences (CHS) of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) is set to hold its maiden scientific conference and alumni hour at CHS Auditorium, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital Sokoto.
According to the memo released by the college, the conference will commence from Friday 14th to Sunday, 16th July, 2023 at CHS Auditorium, UDUTH, Sokoto.
The theme of discussion of the day is ‘challenges of health sciences education in the 21st century’ and the sub-theme is ‘the role of alumni in the development of institutions’.
The former Provost of CHS, Prof. Hamidu Ahmed OON and Prof. Isma’ila Arzika Mungadi are invited as keynote speaker and sub-thematic speaker respectively.
Prof. L.S. Bilbis, the Vice Chancellor of UDUS is the chief host of the conference; Professor of Radiology and Provost CHS, Prof. S.A Saidu is the host while Prof. Anas A. Sabir is the co-host.
